The world tends to be separated into 2 different classes of people; those who love spiders and those who don’t. I’ll be the first one to admit that I absolutely don’t like spiders and, although I don’t have arachnophobia, I do tend to avoid them whenever possible. That is especially true when it comes to spiders in the home, because, as far as I’m concerned, there is no place for them in there.
In most cases, spiders are relatively harmless, other than the fact that they do creep us out to a certain extent. That being said, we still don’t want them hanging out in the home and we would like to remove them, but not all of us are into using harmful chemicals and killing spiders in order to get them out of the house.
Fortunately, there are some ways to remove spiders naturally and the following 9 different methods can be used in the home without worry.
1. Mint – it is true that spiders hate peppermint but most people love it. Fill a spray bottle with water along with peppermint essential oil and spray it around the home. Your home will spell fantastic and the spiders will be gone for good.
2. Keep it clean – a dirty home is often a haven for invading spiders. Perhaps one of the most important things to do to naturally remove spiders is to keep your home tidy and remove all dust or cobwebs as they appear. Vacuum regularly, dust and de-clutter.
3. Vinegar – you might be surprised with the number of uses white vinegar has around the home, and you can add repelling spiders to the list. Use it in a similar way to peppermint oil by filling a spray bottle with water and vinegar and spraying all the nooks and crannies around the home.
4. Get a cat – cats are not only good mousers, they are also excellent for hunting spiders as well. No spider will be safe crawling across the floor in front of a good cat.
